The hotel was great a bit of old grandeur overall very comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast a good start to the day. The only let down was initial reception, we had arrived early ( overnight flight) and asked if luggage could be stored until room was ready, the young girl was very icy and said we could not get in before 3 pm no smile at all. Don’t think she likes her job. We went out and had a look around the area and returned about midday the place was packed with people checking out place had been full. My wife asked if there was a room available yet and got the reply not until 3 pm so my wife asked for the manager who came and spoke to her she explained the situation and the manger checked the reservation screen and said yes there is a room available we can just swap you over which she did. We knew that this was possible as we had managed and owned motels for over 15 years. After that all was fine.

Everything was perfect. The staff are fantastic and helpful, the room was enormous and the bathroom was too, they have a bidet, they offered complimentary bathrobes and slippers, it was a perfect temperature in the room in spite of it being very chilly outside. The pillows were awesome and the bed was enormous like a California king but since the room is so huge you don't get a good sense of it from photos until you're there. Both my partner and I slept a solid 8,5-9,0 hours both nights and it was one of the most relaxing stays. Quiet too. Luxurious feeling. Additionally, there is a metro entrance and exit right next to the hotel which was very convenient for us as tourists for heading to the farther out areas of interest but at the same time it's also walking distance to most interesting places.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, trained to the highest standards. We’ve learned it is one of the very few family owned hotels in Belgium. The lobby is just stunning, with elaborate decorative furniture and walls. A bit of old, tasteful elegance was just what we expected from the photographs and that’s exactly what we got! The room was just amazing, with gorgeous furniture and spotless en-suite. Breakfast was also great, hot and cold buffet in a beautiful space. I hope to be able to visit again someday!

We booked a long weekend at this hotel with friends and had an amazing experience. The location is right in the city centre so you can walk to many central places from there or take the metro which is also just around the corner. Despite that, it is very quiet even on the front side. The hotel itself is lovely, it has the charm of historical grandeur which we were looking for. Great service, big rooms and super tasty breakfast. We will return here if the opportunity arises.

Good location just 10 minutes or so stroll from Grand Place and the tourist centre, just a few minutes from Metro stations. Beautiful lobby and bar/lounge. Friendly staff and the hotel is spotlessly clean. A good sized room with a huge mega-comfortable bed and pillows ensured a great night's sleep. Also nice to be able to get BBC1 and 2 on the room's TV.
